We're two young mothers who found ourselves navigating the joyful whirlwind of parenthood. We noticed something crucial missing in the vibrant world of children's products: truly accessible and engaging tools to help our kids (and ourselves!) find moments of calm amidst the storm.

That's why we poured our hearts into creating Whimsy and You. We genuinely believe that mindfulness isn't just for grown-ups; it's a superpower we can give our children early on. But here's our special ingredient: we've filled Whimsy and You with playful fun and a genuine grasp of what really excites and engages kids. You won't find boring, adult ideas dressed up for children here. Instead, we offer imaginative, just-right-for-their-age tools that speak straight to their little hearts and minds, turning mindfulness into an adventure, not a chore.

We started Whimsy and You because we're passionate about nurturing resilient, emotionally intelligent children. We've put our own experiences, insights, and a whole lot of love into creating a brand that truly supports both parents and kids on their journey to a more mindful and joyful life.

Why the name “Whimsy”?

We chose the name Whimsy as a reminder to embrace the magic of being a child: the curiosity, the creativity, and even the chaos. It’s about seeing the world with wide eyes and an open heart.

At Whimsy and You, we believe nurturing emotional well-being begins by meeting children where they are — in their world of stories, questions, feelings, and fun. “Whimsy” captures the spirit of how we want children (and their grown-ups) to feel: safe to explore, free to express, and supported in their own unique way of growing.

Why is Whimsy an owl ?

Whimsy the Owl isn’t just wise—it’s curious, kind, and always ready to listen. Owls are often seen as symbols of wisdom, but Whimsy brings something more: a gentle presence that helps children feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and imagination. Whimsy doesn’t come with all the answers—just thoughtful questions, quiet encouragement, and a touch of magic to help kids grow with confidence and heart.
